30 years of fighting AIDS: get tested and “Chase the virus, not the people!”
These days the campaign “Chase the virus, not people!” will fight for the rights of key populations both in the conference rooms and on the marches.
This year World AIDS Day marks the 30th anniversary of the world’s consolidated fight against the HIV/AIDS epidemic. The effective ARV treatment has already emerged that allows people living with HIV to continue to live full lives, but stigma, discrimination and criminalization remain key barriers to overcoming the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
The campaign “Chase the virus, not people!”, successfully launched at #AIDS2018, is taking its first steps in Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Estonia, Uzbekistan, and now it’s time to hear your voice!
