Natalya Podogova, Coordinator of the EECA networks and community campaign Chase the virus not people shares her expectations of the regional #PARTNERSHIP forum in response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic: EECA experience and achievements, to be held on October 22-24:

“The key result of the #ChaseTheVirusNotPeople campaign, which started in Amsterdam during AIDS-2018 conference in July, was the consolidation of all communities in the region around common problems of stigma, discrimination and criminalization.
Now our task is not to lose this impetus and to reinvigorate the campaign to develop further at the regional level, in general, as well as in each country.
A regional forum attended by representatives of communities and consortia from 11 countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia is an excellent opportunity to discuss campaign tools that every activist, organization or consortium can use in their own country to solve the most important problems of communities in the future”.

Campaign co-organizers:
Eurasian Coalition on Male Health – ECOM
EECA Sex Workers’ Alliance
Eurasian Harm Reduction Association – EHRA
Eurasian Women’s Network on AIDS
SWAN – Sex Workers’ Rights Advocacy Network
AFEW International
